In February 2020 I was tasked with finding, shooting, scripting, editing, and publishing a visual story as part of my digital storytelling class.
I chose the Winnipeg Wasps outdoor rugby Snow 7’s tournament as my topic. I found the Snow 7’s tournament through the Facebook Winnipeg events page. I then emailed the Wasps and spoke with Kelcey MacGillivray, a co-president and player on the Wasps.
After speaking with Kelcey I went to their tournament and one of the Wasps’ training sessions.
